Buckleather is a traditional English leather workshop located on the Norfolk–Suffolk border, where every item is individually handcrafted by master leather craftsman Kevin Buck. With over 50 years of professional experience in leathergoods, saddlery and harness making, Kevin combines traditional skills with exceptional attention to detail to create products built to last a lifetime.
Awarded a prestigious bursary by the Worshipful Company of Saddlers and holding a Diploma in Leather goods and Handbag Production from Cordwainers College, Kevin’s expertise is reflected in every piece he creates.
Our bespoke men’s and women’s belts are handcrafted from premium oak bark tanned bridle leather supplied by J & FJ Baker of Devon – the last remaining English tannery still producing leather using traditional methods dating back to Roman times. We also create luxury travel belt wallets, credit card sheaths and key straps using the finest full-grain vegetable tanned leather from renowned British tannery J & E Sedgwick.
Finest British Materials
Only the finest British materials are selected, including traditional hand-cast West End buckles produced by a Royal Warrant-holding foundry. Each piece is carefully hand stitched using traditional saddlery techniques, with edges finished, polished and creased by hand for an authentic heritage finish.
